Celebrating British Beer & Cider...

We love nothing better than an excuse to celebrate and serve some of the finest British ales and ciders... so we do!

The Hare and Hounds Beer Festivals have become renowned for great weekends of beer, cider, food and entertainment - something the whole family can come along to enjoy.

In 2012 we celebrated St Georges Day with a spectacular festival aka ‘The Great British Weekender’. The event took place from Friday 20th until Monday 23rd April.

Mark and Kerry King really indulged for their first year in terms of entertainment, with a superb Ska inspired act for the Friday night, and DJ Terry spinning the ‘Best of British’ for the Saturday evening.

The Great British Weekender didn’t disappoint in their vast selection of refreshments, featuring an alfresco beer tent selling the very best British real ales and ciders.

With the success of the Great British Weekender in early 2012, The Hare and Hounds decided that the perfect summer finale would be to hold another Festival over the August Bank Holiday Weekend. The festival celebrated a whopping 13 Guest Ales & Ciders, with Karaoke on the Friday Night & Live music from EAST OF JAVA on the Sunday night. A mouth watering BBQ finished off the event nicely and the band rocked out the beer tent 'Alfresco' style with over 200 visitors sitting to watch them play by candle light - the atmosphere was electric!
